Mapalyze offers four plans designed to grow with your team. This article explains what is included in each plan and helps you choose the right one.

Plan overview

Explorer — Free

The Explorer plan is a free evaluation plan. It is ideal for individuals or very small teams validating Mapalyze with real field data before moving to a paid operational tier.

Starter — €25 / user / month

The Starter plan is designed for small field teams that need offline maps, all geometry types, and GIS exports.

Includes everything in Explorer, plus:

  • Up to 5 users
  • 10 projects
  • 50 forms
  • 5,000 records per month
  • 10 GB storage
  • 3 offline map regions per user
  • All geometry types (points, lines, polygons)
  • GPS tracking and routes
  • Conditional logic and calculated fields
  • Repeatable sections and record linking
  • AI form builder (25 generations per month)
  • Bulk operations (up to 500 selected records per action)
  • Simple approval workflow
  • Basic Zapier lane (1 active subscription)
  • CSV, GeoJSON, Shapefile, KML, and Excel export
  • Basic automation rules (up to 5)
  • Task management with Kanban and calendar
  • Saved views
  • Team chat and activity feed
  • Viewer and Editor roles

Professional — €35 / user / month

The Professional plan is built for growing teams that need AI capabilities, workflows, spatial analysis, and audit controls.

Includes everything in Starter, plus:

  • Up to 20 users
  • Unlimited projects, forms, and records
  • 100 GB storage
  • 10 offline map regions per user
  • AI face blur and photo OCR
  • Voice-to-form fill
  • AI photo analysis and anomaly detection
  • AI natural-language search
  • Workflows and event rules
  • Geofence monitoring
  • Spatial analysis and heatmaps
  • Scheduled reports
  • PDF reports (Mapalyze branding)

Team — €45 / user / month

The Team plan is for organisations that need enterprise-grade integrations, SSO, custom branding, and dedicated support.

Includes everything in Professional, plus:

  • Unlimited users
  • 500 GB storage
  • Unlimited offline map regions
  • Full REST API and API keys (up to 25)
  • SSO / SAML
  • SCIM provisioning
  • Custom branding
  • ArcGIS integration
  • OData feed
  • Query console
  • Dashboard builder
  • Smart assignment
  • Unlimited webhooks
  • PDF reports with your own branding
  • Dedicated support and onboarding

Annual billing

All paid plans offer annual billing with a 15% discount:

Switching to annual billing takes effect on your next billing date. Switching back to monthly takes effect at the end of your current annual term.

Choosing the right plan

Choose Explorer if:

  • You have 1–2 users evaluating Mapalyze
  • You need no more than 1,000 records total while evaluating
  • CSV, GeoJSON, and PDF exports are sufficient
  • You want to try offline maps (1 region included)

Choose Starter if:

  • You have a team of up to 5 people
  • You need offline maps across multiple areas (3 regions per user)
  • You need Shapefile, KML, or Excel exports
  • You need GPS route tracking or all geometry types
  • You need simple approvals, basic Zapier, or capped bulk operations

Choose Professional if:

  • Your team is growing beyond 5 members (up to 20)
  • You need AI features, workflows, or spatial analysis
  • You need audit logs, custom roles, or geofencing
  • You need scheduled reports

Choose Team if:

  • You have a large organisation or enterprise team
  • You need SSO / SAML or SCIM provisioning
  • You need API access or ArcGIS integration
  • You need custom branding on exports and reports
  • Dedicated support and onboarding are important

Free trial

All paid plans come with a 14-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to all features of the plan you select. No credit card is required to start.

At the end of the trial period:

  • If you add a payment method, your subscription begins automatically.
  • If you do not add a payment method, your account reverts to the Explorer plan. Your data is preserved, but features above the Explorer tier become unavailable and over-limit creation is frozen until usage is reduced or the plan is upgraded.
