Explorer gives you 2 users, 1 project, 2 forms, 1,000 records total, 200 MB storage, offline data capture, 1 offline map region, point geometry capture, CSV + GeoJSON export, up to 10 PDF reports/month, and 5 Maia form generations/month. It's designed to let you evaluate Mapalyze with real field data before committing to a paid plan. No time limit, no credit card required.
Are there per-device fees or hidden costs?
No. Pricing is per user, not per device. Each user account can be active on up to 2 trusted devices simultaneously — phone, tablet, or desktop. To switch to a new device, simply remove an existing one from your account settings. No per-device fees, no overage charges.
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades unlock immediately. Downgrades preserve existing data, but lower-tier limits can freeze new creation or paid capabilities until usage is reduced or the plan is upgraded again.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Yes. Starter and Professional plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features of that plan. No credit card required. At the end of the trial, you choose to subscribe or your account falls back to Explorer.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing is available on paid plans and includes a 15% discount. Contact our sales team for manual annual contracts or volume terms.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is always yours. You can export everything at any time in open formats (CSV, GeoJSON, Shapefile). After cancellation, your data remains accessible for 90 days so you can complete your export. If you downgrade to Explorer, your data is preserved (read-only if over limits).
